What Data Is Collected?
- Generally, only access to the camera on your phone is required.
- In some cases, you may need to upload a photo of your ID.
- No private data is stored during the verification process, and any images used for verification are only used for that purpose, then deleted when the process is complete.
- If you choose to create an account with Emblem, they will store your phone number and verification status, which allows you to quickly verify on other sites outside of our network, using Emblem age verification services.
- Your email address is collected and stored on our servers only, allowing you to easily retrieve your verification status on any one of our network sites, without having to visit Emblem again.
How Is My Verification Status Recognized?
- Verification status is recognized by a cookie set in your browser.
- A cookie is set for 1 year on the site you initiated the verification from.
- Cookies are specific to each site, and to each browser and/or device you use.
